Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 10, 2026

PixLite ("the App") is developed and maintained by Tommy Ong. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use PixLite.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. PixLite operates entirely on your device.

Photo Library Access

PixLite requests access to your Photo Library solely to let you select photos for compression and to save compressed results back to your library. Photo data never leaves your device.

Notifications

If you enable weekly cleanup reminders, PixLite schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent to any server. You can disable notifications at any time in the App's settings or in iOS Settings.

Widgets

PixLite's widgets display compression statistics stored locally on your device using App Groups shared storage. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted externally.

Share Extension

When you use the PixLite Share Extension from the iOS share sheet, selected images are processed on-device. No data is transmitted to external servers.

Third-Party Services

PixLite does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs that collect user data. The only external service used is Apple's App Store for purchase processing, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Since we do not collect any data, there is nothing to retain. Compression statistics (total photos compressed, bytes saved) are stored locally on your device and can be cleared by deleting the App.

Children's Privacy

PixLite does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
